About People & Profiles
People & Profiles is for listings where the builder is the point. Some pages tell a founder's story, some are a maker's personal corner of the web, some show finished work, and some are a single link that routes visitors to everything else. Each is a way to meet the human behind a product before you try the product itself.
Use this category to see who is working on AI, developer tooling and frontier ideas, and how they present themselves. Filters narrow the list across all four subcategories, so you can compare layouts, tone and the amount of detail on offer. Browsing is the quickest way to find a pattern worth borrowing for your own page. When you submit, you pick one main category, and that choice costs nothing. Choose the subcategory that matches what a visitor lands on, not what you hope to be known for.

People & Profiles: questions answered
- What kind of page belongs in People & Profiles?
- Anything built around an individual or their output: a founder introducing their venture, a personal homepage, a collection of finished projects, or a single page of outbound links. Tools for building such pages are better placed in a software category.
- How do I pick between the four subcategories?
- Think about what a visitor sees first. A narrative about a company's origin suits Founder profiles. A broad personal home suits Personal websites. Visual or written case studies suit Portfolios. A short stack of buttons pointing elsewhere suits Link pages.
- What is the route to a listing here?
- Open /submit and enter your site's URL. The profile is drafted by AI from that page, then you review and amend each field before it goes live. A free listing waits about 6-8 weeks in the queue; a paid launch skips that wait.
- Can one page appear under several subcategories?
- Your main category comes free with the listing. If a page straddles two or more areas, the $5 upgrade lets you add as many as 3 extra categories. Otherwise, pick the single best fit.
- In what order do pages appear?
- Newest arrivals sit at the top by default. Visitors can re-sort by community votes instead. Votes are not for sale, so a vote-sorted view reflects what people actually liked rather than what someone paid for.
