RemoveVideoBG

What it is

RemoveVideoBG is an online video background removal tool that uses AI to automatically detect and separate subjects from their backgrounds. Users upload MP4, MOV, or WebM files, and the AI processes them to create transparent exports in formats including WebM with alpha channel, PNG sequences, MOV/ProRes, or MP4 with new backgrounds. The tool works without green screens or manual masking and supports videos up to 4K resolution with no watermark. It handles various content types including people, products, animation, and motion, and supports both short clips and long-form footage like tutorials and webinars.

Quick answers

Do I need a green screen to remove a video background?

No green screen is needed. The AI detects your subject — people, pets, products, or motion — so you can remove background from video shot anywhere, with no chroma key, manual masking, or rotoscoping.

What video formats can I upload and export?

You can upload MP4, MOV, and WebM files. Export a transparent WebM (VP9 alpha) or PNG sequence for editors, or an MP4 once you add a new background. Your resolution is preserved all the way up to 4K.

Will the exported video have a watermark or lose quality?

No watermark is ever applied. Your export keeps the original sharpness and frame rate up to 4K, with clean alpha edges around hair and fine detail, so the result is ready for client work with nothing to re-render.

How long can my video be?

Both short clips and long-form footage are supported. You can process tutorials, webinars, and full lessons, not just short loops. You only pay for the seconds you actually process.

Can I remove background from video for free?

Yes, the tool is free to start with free credits to try, and the result carries no watermark. A short test clip is a good way to check the video background remover on your own footage before buying more credits.
