What it is

Relatch reads your documents and automatically builds structured skill files for AI agents. The platform accepts PDFs, Word documents, Markdown, notes, code files, spreadsheets and mixed-content files, then detects the knowledge type and applies the matching enrichment template.

For Claude, Relatch exports a structured .md file that installs directly into Claude Projects. For OpenAI Codex, it exports a .zip containing SKILL.md and agents/openai.yaml in Codex CLI format. The output includes YAML frontmatter, structured tables, logic flows, and guardrails—not just raw text.

The service processes files through Relatch's own proxy and discards them immediately after generating the skill file. Documents are never stored or used for training. All skill files are quality-gated before delivery, and the platform offers no-code access without requiring Claude or Codex Pro subscriptions.

Your files exist only for the duration of your browser session and are discarded when you refresh the page. Documents are never stored in a library. If you create an account, authentication is handled by a dedicated provider so Relatch never holds your password.

Is Relatch free to use?

Yes. Relatch is free while the product is being validated with early users. Daily and weekly usage limits reset automatically, and you can run a full generation before creating an account.

Why do I need Relatch if Claude and Codex can already build skill files?

Writing the file was never the hard part. The hard part is deciding what shape messy source material should take before a single line gets written. Relatch makes that call for you, so you start from a finished, organized skill file instead of a blank page and a formatting guess.
