Is Kipper read-only? Can it change my data?
Yes, Kipper is strictly read-only by architecture. Data only flows one way, from your finance system into Kipper to answer questions. It is impossible to modify accounting data through Kipper.
How quickly can we set it up?
Most teams are live in under an hour. You connect your finance system, set access, install the Slack or Teams app, and start asking questions.
What about data security?
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest on AWS in the United States. Kipper is read-only by architecture, every query is audit-logged, and access is controlled by administrator configurations.
Do my team members need a finance system login?
No. Only an administrator needs to connect the system once. After that, anyone can ask questions from Slack, Teams, SMS, or AI tools without their own finance system login.
